The Fuel for Funding: Beginner's Grant Writing Course is designed for individuals and organizational staff new to grant writing. This workshop is not your average grant writing workshop. Ronessa Strickland-Roberts, Med. Asst. MPH, CHES, CAHI and President/Owner of Volcano Consulting, LLC is the developer of the Fuel for Funding: Beginner's Grant Writing Course. She has nearly 10 years management experience, 20 years of public health experience and nearly 10 years of clinical experience. Ronessa is a Medical Assistant and a Certified Allied Health Instructor. Ronessa has either worked as direct service grant staff or provided grants management nearly all of her adult career. This gives her multi leveled insight in grant writing as she is able to see all components from various perspectives because she has "worked her way up the ladder." Ronessa has worked diligently at diversifying her skill set. Her work ethic is impeccable and she strives to be the best at every task set before her. She is her greatest critic. These are also valuable skills for the grants she writes and is only complimented by her natural aptitude for effective communications and writing. Ronessa is an avid reader and information seeker. Additionally, because of her wide array of interests and experiences, she is well read on numerous topics and industries.
